109 innovative projects were selected to the semifinals of the competition "Innovation Breakthrough 2011. Year of Information Technology. " Of these more advanced to the semifinals of projects in the categories "Promising Innovation Project" (34 projects) and the "Best Innovative Idea" -33 project. In the category "Best project of young professionals," the semi-finals went seven projects in the nomination "The successful start of the innovative project" -24 projects in the category "Best Social Innovation" - 11 projects.

 

            Twenty finalists will be determined on 14 November and will be published on the competition website. The finalists will participate in the Road-Show - presentation of projects to investors and experts and the media, which will be held on November 16 in Kyiv City State Administration. In the advisory council will participate Kardakov Alexander, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of "Octave capital", the founder of the company, "Inkom" and "Datagroup" Ruslan Kramarenko, Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration Andriy Blinov, chief editor of "Expert-Ukraine", Anna Degtereva, the general director of «Global Management Challenge» and other experts.

 

The winner will be awarded a trip to Silicon Valley, California, USA on international conference.
